Yassmin Forte, was born in Quelimane, Zambézia, in 1980 and has lived in Maputo since 1986.
She did her degree in Communication Sciences in the Public Relations and Journalism variant, works as a Marketing Technician at Rádio Moçambique.
She participated in the photography course at Zeta Photo in 2011, with the photographer Jorge Almeida and in 2012, took the photography course at the Photographic Training Center. (Maputo). She has held 5 individual exhibitions, participates regularly in collective shows and won several awards, including the Mozal Arts and Culture Prize, in 2019.

Yassmin Forte, nasceu em Quelimane, na Zambézia, em 1980 e vive em Maputo desde 1986.
Fez a sua Licenciatura em Ciências da Comunicação na variante de Relações Públicas e Jornalismo, trabalha como Técnica de Marketing na Rádio Moçambique.
Participou no curso de fotografia na Zeta Photo em 2011, com o fotógrafo Jorge Almeida e em 2012, fez o Curso de Fotografia no Centro de Formação Fotográfica. Realizou já 5 exposições individuais, participa regularmente em colectivas e ganhou vários prémios, entre os quais, Prémio Mozal Artes e Cultura, em 2019.
