Lillian Benny is a photographer living in Maputo, Mozambique. She uses photography as a means of expression and her work explores ideas conceptualized around psychology, human reality incorporating research as a tool in her work, migration and spaces along with the cross intersection of two worlds in which she exists, having grown up in Johannesburg, South Africa. She was always interested in art and practiced drawing until she became interested in photography.
He participated in the photography workshop and collective exhibition Democrasee in 2021, exhibited her work in the Maputo Fortress in a collective exhibition organized by the Spanish Embassy in 2023 called 'A world divided by all' which analyzed pertinent social issues in Mozambique. Her work has also been featured on the online platform A women Everyday, by Through The Lens Collective, in Johannesburg.

Lillian Benny é uma fotógrafa que vive em Maputo, Moçambique. Ela usa a fotografia como meio de expressão e o seu trabalho explora ideias conceptualizadas em torno psicologia, a realidade humana incorporando a pesquisa como ferramenta no seu trabalho, migração e espaços juntamente com a intersecção cruzada de dois mundos em que ela existe, tendo crescido em Joanesburgo, África do Sul. Sempre se interessou por arte e praticou o desenho até se interessar pela fotografia.
Participou no workshop de fotografia e exposição coletiva Democrasee em 2021, expôs o seu trabalho na Fortaleza de Maputo numa exposição colectiva organizada pela Embaixada de Espanha em 2023 chamada 'Um mundo dividido por todos' que analisou questões sociais pertinentes em Moçambique. Seu trabalho também foi apresentado na plataforma online A women Everyday, pelo Through The Lens Collective, em Johannesburg.
