Fernando Kahombo is an emerging Angolan interdisciplinary artist and theater student. His artistic research has revolved around documentary, autobiographical theater and performative lectures. Furthermore, he is co-author of the Anthology “ Há Luta na Voz ” and collaborator of the Leituras Assistidas project. In 2022, he was invited to present texts for the international Orange The World Campaign, about domestic violence against women, and won the SLAM TUNDAWALA Spoken Poetry Championship. In 2023, he won second place in the Todo Mundo Slam, at the Âlcantara Library, May edition. His video performance “Um Diacritic e Três Letras” was selected and shown in the hybrid exhibition at the Salão de Arte Contemporânea de Formosa (SaFor), in Brazil. In addition, he worked as an artist and researcher at the “NA PRÁTICA” Summer School, an advanced training initiative co-organized by Mateus Divers and the Center for Theater Studies (FLUL), in July 2023.

Fernando Kahombo é um artista interdisciplinar angolano emergente e estudante de teatro. Sua pesquisa artística tem girado em torno do teatro documental, autobiográfico e palestras performativas. Além disso, é co-autor da Antologia “Há Luta na Voz” e colaborador do projeto Leituras Assistidas. Em 2022, foi convidado a apresentar textos para a Campanha internacional Orange The World, sobre a violência doméstica contra as mulheres, e ganhou o Campeonato de Poesia Falada SLAM TUNDAWALA. Em 2023, conquistou o segundo lugar do Todo Mundo Slam, na Biblioteca de Âlcantara, edição de Maio. Sua video performance “Um Diacrítico e Três Letras” foi selecionada e exibida na exposição híbrida do Salão de Arte Contemporânea de Formosa (SaFor), no Brasil. Além disso, atuou como artista e pesquisador na Escola de Verão “NA PRÁTICA”, uma iniciativa de formação avançada co-organizada pela Materiais Diversos e pelo Centro de Estudos de Teatro (FLUL), em julho de 2023.
